西洋ビスクドール特別講習会のご案内

西洋アンティークのビスクドール特別講習会を下記の日程で横浜自宅で行います。初めての対象とした講習会ですのでお気軽にご参加ください。
日時：10月15日（土）～16（日） 10～16時（休憩あり）
二日間で一体を仕上げます。
（初日：顔のペイント 二日目：胴体をつなぎ衣装等作成）

最寄駅：JR関内駅８分・市営地下鉄伊勢佐木長者町３分。 元町・中華街駅までもぶらぶら歩いていけます。
内金５千円を添えて申し込み頂きます。後日、会場までの地図を送付します。定員になり次第締め切らせていただきます。講習日前７日間のキャンセルの場合、内金の返金できません。
特別講習会では定期的に作成する人形を変更しておりますが、今回は以下の二点です。どちらも過去の講習会で好評だった人形です。
１）タイニィ ベビー（ドイツ）
1924年頃 33cm
費用¥23,000 （衣装・講習費込み）
このタイプのベビーは、胴体、手、足は、布地でできており、綿を入れて作りますので、感触の柔らかい抱き人形です。お友達やお子様のプレセントにいかがですか？ペイントする部分は、まつげ、唇、ほほだけで、眉毛はペイントしないため、初心者の方でも描くことが容易です。
２）ゴーチェ（フランス）
1880年頃 35cm
費用¥25,000 （衣装・講習費込み）
胴体は、ドイツ製の木のボディを使います。立つことも、座ることもでき、飾って頂くのに手頃なサイズです。洋服は、ピンク系ですので、人気があります。フランス人形ですので、眉毛、まつげのペイントは、少し多く、濃く仕上げます。焼成する前にチェックしますので、初心者の方でも、ご心配なさらないでください。
Baby Doll for 1 day session at London
前回はジューンブライドでしたので、今回はベビードールを取り上げます。
ロンドンのコミュニティーセンターでは、手芸・芸術・学問などを幅広く教えています。
そこで、一人のドイツ人女性と知り合いました。お互いの趣味が人形作りであったので、自分の知っている人形を教え合うことになりました。
まず、その女性が、ドイツの多くの子供逹が手に持って遊ぶ布製の人形を、我が家で教えてくれることになりました。
彼女は、とても繊細かつ丁寧に、この人形の作り方を教えてくれました。
加えて、彼女は、もう一つの素晴らしい才能の持ち主でした。自分の庭で育てたバラなどの美しい花で、豪華なブーケをつくることです。当日、自ら作ったブーケをプレセントしてくれました。
それ以来、私も花づくりに魅せられました。
翌月に、今度は私が彼女の家を訪問し、ベビードールを教えました。
その作品が、この写真の作品です。ドイツのE.I.Horsman Co.が作ったTynie Babeです。
ゆりかごかベッドに寝かせると、まるで生きているような人形です。身長は20ｃｍです。
秋の講習会で作ります。
This article is about baby dolls.
In community centres in London, sewing, arts, and academics courses were available.
I met a German lady there, who also had a hobby of doll-making. We decided to teach each other dolls that we knew.
First, she taught me at my home how to make a cloth-made doll for children that was popular in Germany.
She taught me very carefully and in detail how to make this doll.
Furthermore, she also had a fantastic technique of making a gorgeous bouquet with beautiful flowers such as roses that she had grown at home. She gave me a bouquet that she had made herself.
Since then, I also have been interested in flower-related arts.
The following month, next I visited her home and taught her how to make a baby doll.
This doll is the doll in the attached photo. It is Tynie Babe made by E.I. Horsman Co., Germany. When placed in a carriage, this baby will look like it is alive! It is about 20 cms. This will be the doll for my Autumn class.

今日はビスクドール作りを始めたきっかけについて書かせていただきます。
私がビスクドールを作るきっかけは、サッチャーの時代である８０年代に足掛け８年に渡るロンドン滞在中に現地の本屋さんで一冊の本を見たのが始まりです。「ビスクドール教えます」というページに乗っていた可愛い光沢のある人形の顔が目に止まりました。それまで作っていた布製・ワックス製・刺繍製のものよりもずっと輝いてました。
すぐに居ても立ってもいられず、二日間講習に参加するために車でモーターウェイ（M1)を１時間以上北に走り、一人で入会しました。
イギリスでは洋服などは教えず、顔のペイントの仕方、窯の使い方、型のとり方など、作品作りよりも商品の売買が目的だったように思います。私の場合、一体できるとすぐに洋服を作ったのはまぎれもありませんが、人形の洋服や靴の作り方の本を買ったり、そのうちに電気窯（人形のHeadを焼くもの）や型（モールド）も買い集めていくようになりました。
最初の頃は顔だけ描いてボディーはすでにゴムでつながっていた子供タイプの人形を作っていました。ビスクドールと一言でいってもファッションドール・ベビードール・オールビスクドールなど色々な種類があると知り、新しい人形に挑戦していきました。
新しい物を手掛けるときはいつもどきどきします。また出来上がりの瞬間は今でもワクワクします。そうしているうちにいつの間にか私の長年の趣味となっていました。
I would like to write a little about why I started making bisque-dolls.
In 1980's when I was in U.K, I found a book about bisque dolls in a book shop. The book was about "guide to bisque-dolls", and I was impressed with the shiny and cute doll in the page of "a class for experiencing bisque doll making".
I wanted to attend the class, so I went to the town where the class was held by driving for over an hour on M1 (motorway) to the north to attend the 2-day session.
In the class, the purpose of the session was not doll creation itself, like making clothes and accessary, basic painting face/molding handling or using a kiln, but was focused on selling/buying products. In my case, after the basic training, I started immediately to make clothes. Then I started buying books on making clothes and shoes of dolls, and then even bought a kiln (for baking/heating heads/bodies of dolls) and molds.
At the beginning, I just painted faces and used child-type bodies that were already joined with elastic. I learned there were all sorts of different bisque-dolls such as fashion dolls, baby dolls, and all-bisque-made dolls. I continued challenging making new dolls. It is always a lot of fun to make new dolls. And when the doll is finished, it also gives me joy. As time passed by, it became my long-time hobby.
